FAQs

What do you offer? We offer string quartets, trios, or duos. We can also include harp, classical guitar, flute, trumpet, oboe, and clarinet. We can combine some of these such as harp and violin or flute; classical guitar with violin is also a lovely combination.
What kind of music do you play? We play traditional classical music, but are also willing to play ballads and other tunes as long as they adapt well to our instruments.
Do you play outside? We play outside as long as we have coverage for our instruments, i.e. tent, gazebo, covered terrace, or GOOD shade tree. (Direct sun can be damaging to string instruments.)
What is the cost? The cost depends on the size group and the distance we must travel. Some other cost variables are: having to rehearse with a singer or having to make arrangements of special pieces. I will be happy to discuss these issues with you. Please see the contact page.
Can you help me choose the music? Yes, of course. We have years of experience playing in a variety of venues for all types of special occasions. We are quite knowledgeable as to what parts of a wedding need music and which pieces work best. Our demo will be a good starting place in choosing music. We will walk you through the music selection process, offering you as much or as little assistance as you desire.
How do we book you for our event? When you decide that you want us to provide your music, we will issue you a contract that will clearly state all the details of the services we will provide; what, when, where, price, etc. You will return one copy of the contract along with the deposit. The balance of the payment will be due one week before the event. Once we have a signed contract and deposit the date and time is reserved just for you.
How far in advance should we book your group? As soon as you decide you want to hire us, go ahead and book us. We get calls anywhere from a year ahead of time to last minute. As soon as you are sure, the best way to be certain we are available for you is to book us right away.
