About Us

Mary Daniels is a prominent musician in the Asheville and surrounding area.  She was concert master of the Asheville Symphony for 25 years and has performed with the North Carolina Symphony and other statewide orchestras as well as in South Carolina and Tennessee.  During this time she also maintained her position for 15 years on the faculty of the Brevard Music Center. 

She maintains a studio of fine young violinists while keeping a busy performing schedule. She has played with such notables as Yo Yo Ma; Fredrica Von Stade; Robert Shaw; John Denver; Tony Bennett; and Tammy Wynette.   Some of the highlights of her career were playing at the White House for President John F. Kennedy and for Prince Charles while on his visit to Asheville.

Because of her wide exposure in the area she has a reputation for hiring the finest musicians and setting the highest standards for each event.
